Samsung Galaxy M40 key specifications revealed ahead of launch


Samsung is going to launch another device under the Galaxy M series. Galaxy M, in particular, has gained a lot of attention with its new design and competitive set of specifications. Its phones such as Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 have received mostly positive reviews. The new device is the Galaxy M40 smartphones that are going to come in the market soon.

Samsung Galaxy M40 will be the first device in the Galaxy M series to feature Android Pie out-of-the-box. The phone will also offer bigger 5,000mAh battery and 128GB built-in storage. The Galaxy M40 is said to come with an AMOLED display and in-house Exynos processor speculated to be either 7904 or 9610. Earlier this month, the smartphone was spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance. The listing confirmed the codename SM-M405F/DS and Android Pie OS. 

The Galaxy M40 will join the current smartphones in the M series that are Galaxy M10, M20, and the M30. Galaxy M40 is said to be the most premium phone in the Galaxy M series and will be priced more than the Galaxy M30 too.

Samsung Galaxy M30 that is priced at Rs 14,990 features a triple-rear camera setup including 13-megapixel, 5-megapixel, and 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensors. It has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies with features like blur control and live focus. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery along with a 15W Type-C charger which provides fast charging.
